Thai Symbolism focuses on Buddhist motifs such as the Precious Umbrella, the Lotus Flower, and the Vase of Treasure since religion plays such an important role in their daily lives. Elephants are Thailand's national animal and they symbolize loyalty and strength. Traditional textiles like the geometric patterns found in Ikat silks (Mudmee weaving) heavily influenced me as well.
