Negative S P A C E
is inspired by the use of negative, open spaces in architecture for a Fall/ Winter knit collection. My color palette is filled with natural and earthy tones which are inspired by both the subtle hues of clay and sky as well as the warmer, richer tones of wood and plant life. To incorporate sustainable practices, I would like to use Weganool yarns, a sustainable and plant-based alternative to wool which requires no water or fertilizer in the growth process.

Prabal Gurung X City Nightlife
Womenswear knit collection for Fall/ Winter 24 inspired by the American designer Prabal Gurung who uses sequins and fringe to create novelty knits that are edgy yet sophisticated. Imagine the city lights after a rain shower. A time where everything feels electrifying and magical. I created my color palette drawn to the vibrant colors you would find on a city street like the red of a fire hydrant, the teal of a street sign, or the navy of the pavement.

Striped Knits
My Chinese Grandmother’s Backyard is a Womenswear knit collection for Spring/ Summer 24. Knit separates, dresses, tops, and sweaters are inspired by the eclectic nature of an overgrown garden with an Asian influence. I created my color palette drawn to the natural and beautiful colors you could find in a summer garden like the blue of the sky, the green from a leaf, and in the peel of an orange.
